As stated in the “2040 Vision” and in the JGC Group midterm business plan “Building a Sustainable Planetary Infrastructure (BSP2025)”, this operating policy is set for each staff to provide adequate solutions to the social issues demanding more energy with less carbon.

Message From Top Management
JGC has been an active contributor to Algeria’s oil and gas industry since 1972, successfully completing 26 major projects by 2024. Domestic operations were initially managed by SAJEC, a former JGC subsidiary established in 1999. In 2006, operations were transferred to JGC Algeria S.p.A. Following their merger in 2008, JGC Algeria emerged as the sole engineering company within the JGC Group, equipped with advanced capabilities in Algeria. Since then, JGC Algeria has played a pivotal role in the ongoing development of the country’s oil and gas sector.
In recent years, the global landscape, marked by environmental challenges, has shifted dramatically. This has led to heightened international expectations for Algeria and increased demand for a reliable energy supply. Algeria now faces significant challenges, including transitioning to renewable energy and reducing emissions associated with energy production, while continuing to grow its domestic industry and contribute to the global community.
